Personal Advancement & Career Enhancement LADDER program

 

 

In collaboration with GAP Inc., the CSR initiative of LADDER - Personal Advancement & Career Enhancement (P.A.C.E) is designed to ensure the Personal Advancement & Career Enhancement of the employees in EAM Maliban Group, Sri Lanka.

 

By improving the capacities of the female garment workers, executives and managers, LADDER hopes to enhance the quality of life at the workplace and improve their personal lifestyle. This will lead to create an effective & efficient workforce which will push EAM Maliban Group into a standardized & accelerated business growth.

 

  • Program consist of training themes such as Communication & Personal Negotiation Skills
  • Problem Solving & Decision Making
  • Women & Career Progression
  • Professional Grooming & Life Style Enhancement
  • Stress & Time Management.
  • Social Entitlement & Legal Literacy
  • Financial Literacy
  • General Health & Reproductive Health

Further, Managers and executives have been training on innovative tools such as learning by doing, learning by inspiration, peer education, psychological motivation and Attitudinal snow balling.

 

First phase of the program was initiated in January 2009 and with the success of the first phase 2nd phase also extended to 2010. With the recent development of the program, GAP Inc. & SEEDS PCU is ready to extend the program beyond into 2010 and to the society level of the particular beneficiaries.
